A roadway in Pleasant Hill was closed “indefinitely” following an accident that also caused a power outage in the area, police said early Thursday morning.

Buskirk Avenue near Interstate Highway 680 is shut off to motorists in both directions between Oak Park Boulevard and Hookston Road, police said.

PGE crews are on scene.

They had a detour set up when I passed by around 6 am.

Might be able to sell vehicle parts as slightly used

“Indefinitely??” How about “for the time being,” or “until further notice.”

I have noticed “indefinitely” in other recent news articles and am wondering if they are evidence of yet another AI generated hallucination, or maybe the interns that write press releases and articles think it’s a cool word but have not yet looked it up in a dictionary?
