Saw the opening ceremony, … the good, bad, and colorful.
But, for the most part, just catching the High-Lites on the News.
Same here! We were offended by the opening and its mockery of Christian faith. Would they have done that to any other faith in the world?
Even before it started dawning on us what they were doing, we were thinking of ourselves what the heck does this have to do with the Olympics. I don’t think it was an accident.
So we have not watched any of it- except for the news showing clips of a poor Italian women contestant being pummeled by some hormone off balanced half man, half woman. It almost seems as if the American democrat party helped plan this whole thing.
Some yes… things I usually want to watch are on like at 2 or 3 AM 🙁
No…waste of time watching men identifying as women compete in a boxing match. I’ve boycotted.

I’ve recorded some of the Archery & Target Shooting events that were on in the wee hours of the morning & will watch those later (after the Giants game, if they play).
Yes. Loved the opening ceremony on the Seine. Also loved the depiction of Dionysus, the Greek God of wine and festivity, which pearl clutchers mistakenly believe was referencing Jesus and “The Last Supper.”

If it wasn’t intended to be a mockery then why was it performed by drag queens? Remove head from sphincter, THEN speak.
On the hole, celebrating the sphincter was likely the point of the performance. While a few people believe this should be open for discussion, it really should stay in the privacy of the home.
Certainly not appropriate for the Olympics, which used to exist to celebrate excellence in sports.

Are you kidding? After mocking Christianity? I am not watching it at all. Besides, from the news headlines I see occasionally, I am wondering why they even have the distinction of men’s and women’s sports as it seems like men can compete against women. I feel sorry for the women who’ve struggled and worked so hard all their young lives to achieve recognition for the level of athleticism they’ve reached to only have it usurped by some mediocre guy that can’t win amongst men, so decides to compete against girls.
