I hope the United Sportsmen’s range is included in the “no damage to critical infrastructure” statement. I also hope a stray round from the range, upgraded for safety a few years ago, isn’t identified as a possible cause of the fire. Years ago that church down the road blamed the range for all the bullets on its roof, while ignoring all the shots fired from Gun Point (formerly West Pittsburg).

I saw a message posted on the USI website stating that they were spared any damage. I believe they were hoping to open by Sunday. The fire started on PG&E property. There’s very little chance it was started by any activity from USI.

I’m sure the Karen’s will find a way to blame it on them and find a way to “Chabot” the range.
