Huge smoke in the area while I was driving north on Ygnacio Valley Road Walnut Creek/Concord border earlier, but good to see planes dousing fire retardant in the area, hope they’ll be able to control it soon.
Emergency alert advised evacuation. I believe the tone was the “brown note “ many may have unwittingly complied
Popping popcorn in North Concord…. 🫣
I hope my favorite gun range will be ok!!
The range is OK……. Fire was being blown away from it.
I sure hope it isn’t a spare the air day.
Paladin Tactical shared a video of the range from yesterday. The range looked fine.
We lost an out building and a couple of trees, thankfully we had cut fire breaks (as we do every year) and Cal Fire along with local fire departments were quick on the scene. Without their quick response this would have been much worse.
Families stuck in commuter traffic let us know if you need us to go get your pets!
