A vehicle struck and destroyed a carport this morning at an apartment complex on Willow Pass Rd. in Concord.
No major injuries were reported.

Explaining to insurance company…. “I don’t know why that carport jumped in front of me! Was it trying to harm itself?” 🙂
I sure wish people were more willing to stop and take a walk around the vehicle to assess the situation when they realize they are in a tight or sticky spot. Instead, they get into tunnel vision mode and fail to spot the easy solution.
Now we have a carport that is trying to identify as a portable shade but is confused as it no longer has legs to stand on.
Sometimes know as driving by braille.
A complex I was at years ago often got the two by fours at the edge of these carports knocked down. Turned up they were only held up by 4 nails.
