National news is reporting former President Donald Trump was the victim of an assassination attempt. He appears to be bloody, but he’s standing up and very alert.
This comes just five days after President Joe Biden was quoted as saying “We’re done talking about the debate, it’s time to put Trump in a bullseye,” according to Politico.

Add full context. Biden said he’s the best person to beat trump in the preceding sentence so obviously he’s not speaking literally to put trump in a bullseye.
I doubt the dead rally attendee would be very interested in context.

Perhaps after this Biden’s handlers will choose his words more carefully for him. Trump has been called “literally Hitler” . Politicians have proclaimed “there will be no democracy if Trump gets reelected”. Actors have said things like “I’d like to punch him in the face”. Biden himself said “if we were back in high-school I’d take him outside and beat the he’ll out of him” . Those are all inappropriate comments and serve only to inflame. Words matter. How many times has Trump himself been excoriated for the comments he makes? Language matters. People need to choose their words carefully. The call to put “Trump in a bullseye” might have been innocent but it comes on the heels of so many other hateful and inflammatory comments from Joe Biden and the left and there’s no denying it.
Right now the news is saying that he’s safe! But it looks like he had a bullet in the ear and blood out of his mouth so we’ll never know until he’s at the hospital and examined. This is horrible! who’s to worry about now the maga people who we’ve been told is the big threat by the media and the Democrats.? No! it’s the liberal left crazies that we all need to worry about!

Did some searching on line, street view show building, shooter was on back (hidden) side from Secret Service snipers vantage point. He raised up to shoot over roof ridge, my opinion only his shoulders, head and weapon were visible to snipers and hit largest target presented.
Probably why DNA test was needed.
