There is a little thing known as the wage price spiral.
Wages increase then prices increase, then wages go up, then prices go up, on and on.
DEMs will inflict higher prices on the poor and those on a fixed income and they don’t care.

Example, a single Mom making minimum wage is all excited to see her wages go up. She is then shocked when the cost of daycare goes up because daycare workers also got the pay bump. Single Mom ends up with zero gain. Minimum wage manipulation was tried by liberal DEMs up in Washington state, a decade ago, figuring it would raise income of those receiving public assistance. What turned out happening, those on public assistance realized their benefits would be cut back, demanded their employers reduce their hours lowering income so they’d again qualify for same level of public assistance.

When Biden was bragging about how many NATO countries now give 2% of their GDP to defense how many listeners realized it was because Trump when president said to other countries, if you want our support then put up the 2% you promised when NATO was formed. Many were barely over 1% at the time.

Kamala Harris has always used the term “reproductive rights” in her quest to champion abortion, without actually saying “abortion” as it doesn’t have a positive connotation.
In her latest public service commercial asking for money, she makes two points: Something to the effect of “Now I know y’all don’t want that mean old Donald Trump back in the White House, after all he will put a national ban on Abortion!” (Note special annunciation of the word “abortion.”

I suppose this sort of announcement with continued focus on misleading the public is necessary when it’s impossible for the Biden administration to run on their record.
The only reason his past supporters are telling Biden to withdraw from the election is because they’re afraid he cannot get reelected. Never mind the fact that he’s incapable of doing the job. Its all about winning the election and staying in power and not at all about whats best for the Country. Case in point- They are talking about running Kamala only because they think she may have a chance to win. Not because she’s even remotely capable of doing the job. So last night I watched “Civil War”, the movie released to theater this last spring and has been available online for a month or two as $20 rental. But the rental price has been dropped to $6. The movie is very good. It’s about what the US would be like if it had a civil war at this time and follows a quartet of press reporters and they travel from New York to Washington DC.

The gunman was identified and photographed by authorities at least twice before he started shooting, once while carrying a rifle case. Both times were approximately 30-45 mins prior (based on reporting that I have seen). Nothing was done!
A police officer was boosted up by another officer to look on the roof. The shooter pointed his weapon at the officer, who dropped back down to avoid being shot. This happened approx 30 secs before the shooting began. I have not heard what actions this officer took.
Good guy snipers WERE STATIONED IN THE BUILDING THAT THE SHOOTER USED! They were supposed to be on the roof, but were not because “It was hot outside”. Nothing was done!
The good guy snipers positioned near the podium delayed their counter fire because they were unsure if the shooter was one of the guys who SHOULD HAVE BEEN AT THEIR POST ON THE ROOF!
Drone footage shows (I have not seen this yet) the ladder leaning against the building. NOTHING WAS DONE!

Actually the cop that looked onto the rooftop was standing on another cop’s shoulders and fell off when he ducked from the gunman. I believe that is when the gunman began shooting.

I don’t think Joe really wants to take this course. Instead, his staff realizes that he’s so far underwater that they need to throw a hail Mary to incite the radical left and get them fired up. One final thing: Joe only needs to last until Sunday (virtual nomination day). Things become much harder for the Dems once the nomination makes Joe official. I have yet to discover the words to accurately describe the contempt and loathing I have for that Whoopie thing.
Back in ’85 or ’86, I was a security guard at the Concord Pavillion. One of the shows that summer was Robert Palmer (Addicted To Love). Whoopi was in attendance and had asked for a private security guard for the evening. I was given the assignment. Whoopi was just becoming a someone, having recently been introduced to the world in “The Color Purple”. My job for the night was to essentially shoo anyone away from her if they started to pester her.
It was mostly an easy night for me except that I had to squat in front of her seat (front row, just above the lower walkway) for the duration of the show. I only stood up to keep people from bugging her and to get the blood flowing. There were several times that I needed to talk to her to perform my duties. She would just ignore me and have someone else in her group answer. Never even looked at me while I spoke. Just treated me and everyone around her like we were beneath her.
My final straw was at the end of the show as I cleared a path for her through the crowd and eventually passed her off to the backstage security detail. I held the door open for her and said something like “It has been a pleasure. Have a nice weekend”, as I held out my hand. She paused, very briefly considered shaking my hand, decided otherwise, looked me in the eye, harrumphed at me and then pushed past.
A truly entitled person who believed that she was too special for common courtesy..
Was that the show where Palmer opened for Heart? Or was it for Steve Miller?
I do remember Palmer getting booed off the stage.
