There is a little thing known as the wage price spiral.
Wages increase then prices increase, then wages go up, then prices go up, on and on.
DEMs will inflict higher prices on the poor and those on a fixed income and they don’t care.

Example, a single Mom making minimum wage is all excited to see her wages go up. She is then shocked when the cost of daycare goes up because daycare workers also got the pay bump. Single Mom ends up with zero gain. Minimum wage manipulation was tried by liberal DEMs up in Washington state, a decade ago, figuring it would raise income of those receiving public assistance. What turned out happening, those on public assistance realized their benefits would be cut back, demanded their employers reduce their hours lowering income so they’d again qualify for same level of public assistance.

In more normal times like in the past the Democrats proposals would not have even made it to the public because the idealism they practice these days the Democrats of the past would have thought those ideas were crazy and they didn’t want to be associated with it. They might have said, “that might nice but it is not realistic”.
So I think we are seeing the collapse of US, even more than turning it into New Venezuela. Maybe Mad Maxx or maybe not because it could have a soft landing.
When Biden was bragging about how many NATO countries now give 2% of their GDP to defense how many listeners realized it was because Trump when president said to other countries, if you want our support then put up the 2% you promised when NATO was formed. Many were barely over 1% at the time.

Kamala Harris has always used the term “reproductive rights” in her quest to champion abortion, without actually saying “abortion” as it doesn’t have a positive connotation.
In her latest public service commercial asking for money, she makes two points: Something to the effect of “Now I know y’all don’t want that mean old Donald Trump back in the White House, after all he will put a national ban on Abortion!” (Note special annunciation of the word “abortion.”

I suppose this sort of announcement with continued focus on misleading the public is necessary when it’s impossible for the Biden administration to run on their record.
The only reason his past supporters are telling Biden to withdraw from the election is because they’re afraid he cannot get reelected. Never mind the fact that he’s incapable of doing the job. Its all about winning the election and staying in power and not at all about whats best for the Country. Case in point- They are talking about running Kamala only because they think she may have a chance to win. Not because she’s even remotely capable of doing the job. Pretty sad state of affairs unfolding in America.

Shout out to our Defense Department’s $230 Million barge over in Gaza. It was reported this week that after 20 successful days of operation, it is now ending. At a little over $10 Million per day cost to the taxpayers, a Defense Department Spokeswoman actually had the audacity to tell the clueless reporters that it was a successful mission. So last night I watched “Civil War”, the movie released to theater this last spring and has been available online for a month or two as $20 rental. But the rental price has been dropped to $6. If you have MAX (formerly HBO) they got dibs (or paid A24) to have the movie there. Usually Paramount+ got the A24 movies but that company is a bit of a “cluster…” right now. Some of you may save how Paramount runs when it rolled into Martinez to shoot some scenes for Netflix’s “Thirteen Reasons Why”. It was like the military.
The movie is very good. It’s about what the US would be like if it had a civil war at this time and follows a quartet of press reporters and they travel from New York to Washington DC.
