There is a Heat Advisory now through 8 p.m. Friday in the areas highlighted in orange.
An Excessive Heat Warning has also been announced from now until 8 p.m. Friday for interior Monterey and San Benito Co, North Bay Interior Mountains, East Bay Interior Valleys and Hills, Santa Clara Valley, including San Jose, and Eastern Santa Clara Hills.
Claycord temperature reading said 70 degrees when I read this article Weds. night. My outside thermometer reads 86 and my Nest thermostat says its 86 wherever its sensors are in Concord. I appreciate Claycord’s optimism but it looks like my A/C will be running again tonight.
It’s called summer! Get over it people so it’s got, every year in the summer it’s hot.
Right! Nothing unusual about hot spells in triple digits lasting for weeks. Let me guess. You work for one of the Big Oil companies.
This excessive heat fits in perfectly with my diet plans as I’m resisting eating any fast food or even nice restaurant meals by just envisioning the cooks in those hot kitchens dripping sweat onto all those meals they are preparing.
Chef hats and sweatbands can only hold so much…..
Commercial kitchens do get really hot in summertime, ask anybody who has ever worked in one…… Yuck.

There are microclimates where I live and if a breeze blows down the valley it will often be 10 degrees cooler than forecast. Almost 24 years at this house and I understand why the previous owner did not put in central air though prepped for it and the old GE through the wall AC does the trick though seldom needed.
The eggheads think their stunts are solving “global warming” but those stunts seem to be making it worse.😎
