Without looking it up, who was the first US president born in the United States of America? And, has there ever been a US president that was not born in the United States of America?
If so, how many?
Well, Dawg, all the early presidents weren’t born in the United States of America, because it didn’t exist when they were born. As to which was the first president born after the creation of the USA, it would have to be someone who was born after 1776 who was old enough to be president. Without looking it up, I might take a reasonable guess at Polk.
Van Buren.
Martin Van Buren was the first president born in the USA. The early presidents were born into British colonial. I didn’t look it up, but it was on a history test when I was in high school in the late 70s.
The Van Buren Boys Gang sign was eight fingers, in honor of our eighth President.
Here’s another bit of Van Buren trivia. Advice columnist, Dear Abby’s real name was Pauline Phillips. She took the pen name Abigail Van Buren in honor of Martin Van Buren. Abigail was a biblical name taken from the Book of Samuel.

Why does the Mt.Diablo elementary school every summer run their air conditioners all day when nobody’s in school ? they have many units.
Are you sure there is no one there? If not call the school district. I’m assuming you live next to the school and hear it?
They have been doing that for years!!!
So they can put a bond measure on the ballot to replace the “worn out “ ac units. That’s a twenty year money grab.
When I reported a stop light problem at Cowell Rd and Ygnacio Valley Rd the City of Concord came back and stated that it would take 4 to 8 weeks to get to. I guess the City of Concord doesn’t care about the “safety of people”. Several cars making a left turn run the light every morning because the left turn light doesn’t change to get onto Ygnacio Valley Rd.
it’s not the only light with issues in Concord….

Book report: Web of the Witch World, Andre Norton, 1964. There are Old Race that are dying out. There are Witches. There are evil aliens. And there is accidental good guy alien who happens to marry a Witch. By doing so she has to give up most, if not all, of her witch abilities. The fight is between the witch power, the evil alien’s almost witch like powers, and some technology. Enjoy.

Dr Jelly, have you ever noticed on just about every episode of Bewitched, they were always drinking alcohol? I read that Elizabeth Montgomery said they used real alcohol on the show and most of the time, they were pretty soused.
The 74 early episodes were in black n white.

Mr. Mayor, my condolences on dealing with software issues.
1990s had programmer, a supposed expert, for industrial controls from back east, got to the point he was told you will not make any code changes after Wednesday when you are leaving Friday afternoon. Turned out was his first job after junior college.
