The smoke you see (and smell) in Contra Costa County is coming from a vegetation fire off highway 12 in Solano County.

There is no immediate threat to Contra Costa County.

There was a fire this evening near Treat Blvd. and San Miguel Dr. Lots of smoke around 8 PM, but can’t find anything online about it.
