Thousands are without power in Concord, and the Styx and Foreigner concert at the Concord Pavilion has been delayed.

PG&E says they’re still trying to determine the cause of the outage, and they claim power will be restored by 4:45 a.m. on Sunday morning.

Thanks to Kerry Dees and Brian Powelson for the information and photo.

Looks like they have too much time on their hands now.
PG&E better hurry up! This is an Urgent, Urgent, Emergency.
I could keep going….. but I think everyone would rather I just stop now.

Maybe Pacific Gouge and Extortion should focus on providing power to the consumers that pay for it, instead of paying out massive multi million dollar salaries to their soulless top executives.

They used to have generators so they could run the show and partial concessions. Not sure what it’s like today.

I remember when we lost power when Fiona Apple was there. She left the stage and didn’t want to return, even after power was restored.

Are generators still legal to California? Probably not. They create air pollution, noise pollution, use fossil fuels, can’t be recycled, don’t in any way benefit the LGBGQG or woke communities, don’t run on batteries, don’t help get democrat politicians re-elected,…..

The new normal in Kalifornistan. When it gets hot and you need your AC the power will go out. Get used to it. This next week will be brutally hot and the power outages will be all over.

I was at the concert last night and the power was out for about 1 hr 15 min before the show was cancelled. Per the PGE outage map there was an estimated restoration time of 4:45 AM with no reason for the blackout. The emergency lights did not work in the bathrooms which were pretty dark. The generators (if any) did not work. Just another example of how California is not even close to becoming an all “electric” state and its electric grid is completely inadequate. When will the politicians wake up and acknowledge reality.

From experience, know if preventive maintenance is not performed on electrical systems on a regular schedule then equipment picks when it gets maintenance.
.
There are two types of electrical maintenance,
preventative and OH KRAP ! ! !

What about the band members that are old now and need to get back to their families(or back to bed)multiple flights or sleeping on a tour bus or an awful awful Concord hotel room.
