Excessive Heat Watch in effect from Tuesday morning through Friday evening.

Well above average high temperatures with triple digit heat across the interior.

Temperatures will remain cooler near the coast with continued onshore flow. In addition, limited overnight cooling is expected for areas away from the immediate coast and in higher terrain. Never leave people or pets in vehicles. Limit outdoor activities during the afternoon and evening. Stay hydrated, take cooling breaks and wear sunscreen.

Maybe it’s because I’m older and smarter, but it always amazes me to see these government warnings that tell you to try to stay cool, to stay in the shade, to wear cool clothing and to drink plenty of water during heatvwaves. Has the public really gotten that stupid that they need to be told these simple things?

It’s summer and it’s going to be hot? That’s crazy and I’m not sure how to react to this information.

It’s July, triple digits is the norm. We have heat waves every July, and we will have another one in September, and we will probably have a couple more in between.
Cuz it’s Summer, Summer time is here, yes it’s Summer, my time of the year.

And I suspect that we’ll have power outages with all of the A/C on because PG&E didn’t expect it to be hot in this area in the summer. But the Dems want us all to drive electric cars and then not charge them when electricity demand is up on hot days.

Pure lunacy from the democrats. Can’t have it both ways.

I don’t recall these kind of temps this early. Of course I only have needed to run the AC a few days each summer and same with the previous owner who didn’t think it was worth having an heat pump put in. This is probably more geoengineering to further reduce the population.
