I’m belong to a group of old men whose average age is 83. I’ve never seen a single one of us as out of touch as Biden was during the debate.

Another I told you so coming in hot. I’ve been telling people that Joe will no way be on the Dem ticket in ’24. After the obvious “no enhancement drugs given” debate, he’s finished. But, that was the plan all along. If you look at his decline just this year, its as if it’s an act, or, they are drugging him into ice cream land. Either or, my money is on Gavin. Why else have a practice debate that didn’t matter with DeSantis? (which, DeSantis handed him his you know what). Enjoy the dog and pony. If the election is stolen again from Trump through letting illegals vote, ballot harvesting, and mail in, better learn how to garden, hunt, and protect your family. But coding software can pay the bills if you can do it. MAGA is simply another iteration of a minority faction that will rise and then disappear. Most Americans reside in the political center, and time after time, throughout our nation’s history, the nation will revert back to the center of the political spectrum because that is where democracy and republics are best governed. Not in the extremes, but for the common good.
And before you throw out, “Are you teaching that in school? No wonder our students…” Yes we do discuss factions and how the founders struggled with how to control factions. It is written into our institutions and they wrote at length about it.

One of the biggest reasons that Joe is running is that Jill REALLY likes being First Lady. Jill is guilty of elder abuse.
The very next day on June 28, after the debate, C-SPAN televised Joe at a campaign rally in North Carolina. He was energetic, and almost as sharp as he was in his State of the Union address. How does he go from befuddled and confused, to composed and alert in just 24 hours?. I think a lot of us know the answer to that.
One thing I noticed about Joe, It doesn’t matter whether he is dazed and confused, or sharp as a whip, he always comes across as a hateful and angry old man. That’s the difference between Joe and Trump, Trump doesn’t hate Joe, he disapproves of his policies and the job he’s doing, but he doesn’t hate him. Joe on the other hand has nothing but hate for Trump, and Trump’s supporters, he and Jill are very sick individuals.
Trump seemed to “hold back” a bit, props to him for that.
What you witnessed during the “debate” was the real Joe, having to think on his feet with no artificial aids.
What you witnessed in South South Carolina the next day was a likely juiced up Joe, reading material

Washington is not arguing that all factions are detrimental – rather that all factions WITH the “real design…to counteract…constituted authorities.” In other words a Deep State that is motivated by their interest and not the will of the people.
Washington’s faction was the Freemasons. If you actually read their source material, you will find populism at the core of their beliefs, not elitism. They encourage people to work within and obey the government, not to secretly subvert it.
I think factions can be both good and bad. Given that Washington has been the only 3rd party candidate we have ever had highlights that our electoral college system is a hinderance.

Factions can be both adventageous and/or detrimental. Extremist factions on the left and/or the right would most likely be seen as detrimental by the moderate majority, but the views of those extremist factions can also be used to the advantage of the moderate factions by galvanizing support and unifying those moderate factions. I believe President Washington was smart enough to know that a factionless Congress was impossible to achieve. If we had a one-party system, or a no-party system, individual members of Congress would still assemble themselves together into like-minded factions in order to pass legislation and confirm executive branch nominees or to stop the passage of legislation and reject executive branch nominees. A faction-less Congress would most assuredly require a single-minded hive mind operating as a collective. A congressional majority acting as a factionless single-minded collective would be advantageous due to the ease of passing legislation, but would be equally as dangerous and detrimental, due to the absence of diversity of thought and the ease of passing legislation and constitutional amendments, which may limit or abolish the rights of citizens

A big problem that we’ve seen with the factions that we call the two-party system today, is that over the last 30+ years we’ve seen the tendency of Democrats nominating only the most progressive or liberal candidates and the Republicans nominating only the most conservative candidates, rather than each party nominating candidates which fit the specific districts and states they’re running in, and would result in the election of moderate and conservative Democrats and progressive, liberal, and moderate Republicans. That’s how the two-faction or two-party system worked for many, many decades. The two-party system of the last 30+ years has resulted in Congress not functioning as designed, the only positive result has been fewer unnecessary bills being passed which would’ve further limited and eroded the rights of the people.
