Firefighters have contained a 255-acre brush fire west of Brentwood on Wednesday afternoon, fire officials said.
The blaze was burning in the area of Empire Mine and Deer Valley roads, according to Cal Fire spokesperson Chelsea Burkett.

Fire fighters are the best.
You bet they are.
Aircraft’s are the main reason that they were able to contain it. They even painted homes and vehicles pink.
I find it amusing that some are annoyed that their home, vehicle, swimming pool or solar panels were protected.

Watched 2 red and white airplanes fly over wednesday in tandem, looked like retardant planes, my 2 year old thought it was a cool sight to see them up close.
