… my nephew really – in MDUSD … teachers range from C- to A-… but admin staff = D …District Staff on Carlotta off of Willow Pass = D- at best …can’t get straight answers, get conflicting information depending on who you talk to, misrepresent policies, will knowingly give you incorrect information, etc.

My son attends a private Christian school in Walnut Creek.
I would change the attitude of the head of school and of Ms Nelson.
She refuses to talk with parents and never tells you how she came up with a certain grade. While your math may tell you that it should be a higher grade she will tell your child no. No explanation.
She favors drama over athletes and some say one’s grade is based on their after school activities.
Paying for a private education or for the attitude ?
There are better choices

Not 100% but my daughter does. I can’t really afford private, unless we apply for financial aid. So for now I just try to volunteer for her school and be a part of a solution, since they seem to be short staffed all the time. I can see how much the staff puts in and try their best with limited resources. My daughter class had 34 kids last school year and they switched off everyday for half a day with another teacher. So her teacher really had about 60 students on the daily..how can they really help the kids…they are in to teach the lesson, if you got it good, if not you fail.

My children have all attended Ayers elementary, and I still have one going there. We love it. I love the teachers, and all the staff. The only thing I would change is the start time!! 0740 is very early..
