Making it worse, plus we all paid for that road already. It’s just a cash grab

I agree. It’s just another money grab by the state.

You know the Democrats run this state right?
Speaking out against them could land you onto the “enemies list”
DOH is beginning to lean right………. danger, danger!

A couple of more things. If you’re worth 30-50 million, paying that toll is a nothing issue. And the state is full of crap on trying to reduce auto pollution. All of those electric cars should be forced to sit in the clogged right lanes and the cars burning fuel should be the ones in the toll lanes moving along for free and getting better mileage.

Oh man I just love having cars fly by me at 70 while I’m at a complete stop. And 10 bucks for a mile or two omg! Steal money any way you can guys!

Makes it worse – other traffic would have another lane to use and will spread out the traffic more…. side note – ALL taxpayers paid for building all of the lanes and should be able to use the all of the freeway without any extra charges. It’s paid for! .and gas taxes are supposed to be used to maintain our roads and freeways but Newscum & Co. siphon off the funding for their own pet projects.

WORSE!
I like that we pay for the roads and then we have to PAY to use them!
I’ve seen the prices over $8 to drive a couple of miles. People don’t want to pay that and cram into the other lanes with the toll lanes empty.

For the 5 people i see using them (and paying the toll, not including the toll evaders that weave in illegally over double yellows and out of the toll lanes before the sensors) im sure they are better, but for the masses that cant afford them and stuck in the slow lanes its much worse, then when the toll times expire everybody goes in the toll lanes and traffic picks up. They only make traffic worse for the 99%.

STOVE,
.
These toll lanes are just like bike lanes, they’re underused and unused, which makes them a complete waste of money! Have you seen the mess the City of Concord has made of Meadow Lane by adding bike lanes?

Ridiculous Concord Blvd too!

Worse

The Toll lanes have made traffic worse! It is also increased the number of accidents! Another costly stupid idea that hurts the working guy who can’t afford to pay the extra tolls to move along quicker.. but has to sit and even worse slower traffic!

28

I’ve been traveling 680 for more than 40 years I can say without doubt the traffic is worse! Anyone that tells you otherwise is full of crap. They took a lane out which is being completely underutilized. Fact I’d love for them to show everyone “analytics” showing me wrong.

So much for DEI , only the rich can afford to use them. Thanks Newscum.

Rumor has it Newsom is contemplating declaring the toll lanes complimentary for his preferred races and orientation. Yep, he wants to handicap the toll lanes.
California, a blueprint for the nation………….

Better, when I have another person in the car. The 2 person, free car pool lane is great! I just fly passed the single driver cars.
When I am alone then it’s worse. But with the increase in population I expect that. There’s just too many people driving by themselves in the Bay Area.

Traffic is worse! This is another offensive in California’s declared “War on Cars.” The State of California intends on continuing to make traffic and parking worse so that those traveling by car will become so miserable that they’ll leave their cars at home and will walk, bike and use public transportation as their chosen modes of travel instead. Just remember, the line coming out of Sacramento is that “Freedom isn’t owning a car so that you can travel where you want to when you to, but REAL FREEDOM is taking public transportation so that you don’t have the expenses that come with owning a car.” Control! Control! Control!

They make it worse. Also it’s hypocritical of these CA Democrats who are always saying they help the poor while they are hauling a$$ thru the toll lanes while the rest of us sit in worsening traffic on crappier roads. Wake up people. #VoteThemOut

It definitely does NOT improve traffic, when on Holidays they still charge toll, as opposed to having it OPEN TO ALL.(that works well on weekends)..
The Lane is usually empty or only has one or two cars… If it were open, people would spend LESS Drive Time…
Seems the “Rulers” have a different Agenda…

More cars stuck in traffic, means more greenhouse gases. Their policies are creating more emissions.

22

It’s just another scam performed by these lousy democrats who run this state!

It’s a money grab and we all know it. They are building more and more toll lanes all over the state. The poor and the working man sit in stop and go traffic and watch the rich fly by at 70 M P H. The people will complain about it but won’t stop it at the ballot box. They will follow along like good Sheep and our leaders know it.

The only thing they are helping to do is to line the pockets of corrupt democrat politicians.

Besides a money grab by our politicians, as usual, what is the purpose of trying to allegedly mitigate traffic congestion while at the same time letting tens if not hundreds of thousands of illegals into our state further congesting our roads and communities?

Let’s call a spade a spade and stop dancing around the real problem!

Well all I know is that the express lane is slower than the fast lane at commute hours. Someone is always driving 60 mph in that lane.
