Should have kept it brown to hide the poo and blood stains.
… and was quieter too

I caught “head lice” from these cloth seats – commuting from Contra Costa – to my job in Oakland.
Plastic seats are probably MUCH easier to keep clean.
Wait! You mean they are not brown now?
Clean, crime free, and a great way to commute to SF in the 80s. Sad to see what it has become.
Remembering this famous PSA from when BART started construction:

.
I know it was a Nationwide type PSA, but when you’re a kid, your neighborhood was the world…
Is still one of my fav all time PSA’a, and i mis-quote it often..
RIP Mr. Mays.
Those old cars were much more comfortable for us passengers! But the trash that rides Bart now adays trashed them. The new cars are nowhere near as comfortable, and the ride is much more jerky.
And too LOUD! I keep expecting the thing to derail.
yes, they were nice. Too bad feral humanoids have ruined it for everyone.
Brown is an earthy tone that can create feelings of comfort and relaxation. It can help create a cozy, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere. Here are some other colors that can have a calming effect:
Blue, Green, White, Violate, Grey….
