Concord Police Officers arrested two suspects for organized retail theft at Walgreens on Concord Ave. this week. Their getaway vehicle was seized as evidence after a large amount of suspected stolen property was located.
The case will be investigated by the Financial Crimes Unit and charges will be referred to the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.
Police did not release the names of the suspects.
DA Becton will probably consider them unemployed & at risk POC and release without prosecution.
No doubt with our good ol DA, they’re probably out by now.
Amish.
The usual suspects.
Photo, but no names??? They published the white dudes name, but not this guy? Also the photo obscures the face of the perp.
If they really want to take care of unemployed people then stop spending billions on wars of empire which already line the pockets of the evil rich in this country and put the general public deeper in debt. We need the stats on these kind of robberies during the Trump admin as compared with Biden.
Like a property theft criminal has anything to fear in CoCo county . . . .
An you thought catch-n-release only applied to fishing.
Ooooh! Dreadlocks. What a SURPRISE!
Mean while, the rest of us suffer and can’t shop freely with all the barricades and everything locked up behind pexi glass .😡😡😡
Probably got caught because he didn’t tie his shoe.
Why no names? Good job LE – now Becton do yours and stop the revolving door!
Police typically don’t release names. Remember? Innocent til proven guilty. Also, if you DID need the name, you’d already know it.
Claycord just released the names of eleven “alleged” child predators, thank you Claycord. I wish the police would stop protecting the bad guys. .
Which Walgreens? (cross streets?)
It was the Walgreens on Concord Ave at at Harrison Street. The clue was in the background of the picture where there is a street sign for Harrison Street <–> Bonifacio. Harrison changes names to Bonifacio when it crosses Concord Ave.
