Concord Police Detain Two People, Recover Stolen Vehicle On Clayton Rd.

Concord Police recovered a stolen vehicle and detained both occupants this afternoon.

Just after 1 p.m., police spotted the vehicle, a Hyundai, that was recently stolen from the Walgreen’s parking lot on Concord Ave. in Concord. The vehicle pulled over in the Safeway parking lot on Clayton Rd. and Denkinger and both occupants were detained.

Both of the vehicle’s occupants, a male and a female, are from Antioch. Their names have not been released.

Would be interested to learn if a FLOCK camera spotted the vehicle.
