Watch for the Beacon tonight !

PFC William Wheatley, USMC, was killed in action in Vietnam.
Bill and I grew up together, and we enlisted into the US Marine Corps together. Bill went into the infantry, and I was part of a helicopter crew. Bill was killed by a snipers bullet in 1965. I still miss my friend.

May God bless all who served are great country and died protecting her.

If I remember correctly, Scott Barnett was an Eagle Scout, and the Troop flag for his troop had a gold star.

I am remembering the 63 United States submarines that are on Eternal Patrol.
