From the WSJ: “Firefighters called to extinguish an electric-vehicle fire are discovering the surest approach is to stand back and watch it burn.” Only way to put out lithium fire needs hours and tons and tons of water to just cool it down….and way too TOXIC to be around.

It was a truck with 80+ gallons of diesel fuel on board per the CHP incident page. No mention of it being EV fire.
