I think we’ve all been kinda’ clear here on Claycord of our opinions on this topic, so I say…
ditto

Agreed. It’s a shame that the Sheriff drags his feet on issuing CCW licenses. Shows his utter disregard for SCOTUS in the Bruen decision way back in 2022.

Concord issues its own.
Online app , no muss no fuss.
And no made up limits on what you can choose.

If only I were in concord

Soft on crime DEMs are not helping situation.
Reducing prison population isn’t helping and DEMs now want to close five more state prisons after already closing two.
‘Newsom has approved three California prison closures but resists pressure to shutter more’
https://au.news.yahoo.com/newsom-approved-three-california-prison-100010284.html
.
DEMs are playing Russian roulette with Safety of Californians with three shells in the revolver, .
And here in CoCo county, our little slice of a tarnished heaven we are encumbered with a mere semblance of a DA.
.
If there is no threat of substantial incarceration,
there is no deterrence to criminal behavior

.
For improvement STOP electing DEMs

But then if you increase prison population then how do you pay for it? Higher taxes? There must be a solution out there somewhere but no one can seem to find it. 🙄

Yes. Our tax money will be better spent keeping criminals away from law abiding citizens to make a safe society for our children and our country. No more tax money to maintain the revolving door.

15

they didnt build all those prisons for them to sit empty, they have tons of money for them, not illegals, but liberals all need to be in there for this mess

The first thing you do is reduce the cost of housing prisoners. No cable TV, food that meets nutritional values and nothing more is a start.

Average cost to incarcerate someone in Missouri is $22,000 a year in California it’s $132,000.
California’s sub out there incarceration to Missouri we could even pay them 50 Grand a year still come out way ahead seriously don’t understand it discrepancy I know our plan is worth more but it’s got to be some sort of answer here

Make criminals pay. Why should mine and everyone else’s hard earned taxpayer dollars support parasitic criminals?

I have live here my whole life and crime has gotten out of control. Procecute ALL crime. Issue community service for “minor crimes”, like cleaning up Kirker Pass or work at the food bank or the animal shelter….

When I see efforts, I will answer this question.
What I do see
1) Release criminals that are arrested in the midst of the crime.
2) Do not prosecute those that are released.
3) Never ever charge someone who is not white.

There are areas, Cities, in Contra Costa County that are having more issues that others with crime.
But then again, there are people from other Counties making crime worse here.
To stop crime is to have the stupid people running our Justice System actually do the right thing.
Make criminals serve sentences. Things are too Loosey Goosey.
I know, I know, …. there is more to it, and I don’t know of a real answer. It’s Political Politics in play.

Has issues, 2023

Prosecution, with meaningful penalties.

Anything else is just lip service

29

Deportation of all illegal immigrants.
.
Maximum prosecution of all felony charges. Convictions with meaningful consequences. No home detentions allowed.
.
Three strikes applies.

We don’t have much crime in Contra Costa County. Shop lifting is legal, drug use and selling is legal, carjacking is petty theft, breaking into a house and squatting there is legal, peeing and pooping in public is legal. We don’t really have a crime problem with law breakers, do we?

20

we dont have much crime?what?

Agreed. And I would add that there no longer any traffic laws. Lots of adults out there that drive and act like childish self centered A H…s.

Just received a email stating that E Insurance will not be renewing my auto insurance in Ca. Just like my owner insurance. I have lived here all my life, sad to say I am leaving. People please wake up and stop voting for these idiots .

E-surance,youre not missing anything,if you get in a crash you wont deal with any employee, and if the car is totaled they get the cars value buy looking at ads for the same cars for sale in your area, and getting an average from all those junkers, and paying you less than half of your cars value.Irs a scam company.get a real ins co,not the cheapest thing online you could find, they are supposed to protect you,not scam you.

Are the “scorched-earth” strategies of the Communist D.As, judges, and politicians apparent yet?

Take a peek in Rules For Radicals and the writings of Marx, it’s all there.

Tolerance and apathy of the voters have created an acceptance of weak prosection and consequences for crime.

There is no one to blame but the voters who have allowed this fiasco.

But someone might get offended or cry racism

Our local police agencies do a great job of attempting to control crime and make our communities safe.
The state DEMOCRAT politicians (and those that vote them into office) strive to make sure criminals are out and about in communities, and that our communities are not safe.

get rid of the plagiarist DA

that you voted for
