The Tesla Cybertruck – Ugly Or Cool?

Most of you have probably seen at least one Tesla Cybertruck driving around Contra Costa County.

What’s your opinion of the futuristic looking vehicle? Ugly or Cool?

That truck got hit with an ugly stick! And, it looks like a Lego building blocks creation…

Houston, we’ve got a problem!

Cool for the technology. Ugly for how it looks.

I think it’s cool and looks like it’s from the future. Reminds me of the DeLorean. Just needs a flux capacitor. The EV can easily reach 88 mph.

Omg hideous!! A someone’s smoking crack at Telsa!! Probably Elon!! Not even if they gave it to me!! Just gross!!

It’s ugly on a par with almost all of today’s low-class/high-rise alphabet-building-block architecture…. but if they GAVE it to me😁~~~I’d take it! 🤣 ~~~ then I’d trade it in as down payment on a Top Floor Condo in the fugly-box high rise.

Right out of Blade Runner! But would you toss bags of concrete or garden soil back there? I can’t imagine it holds much in the “truck bed”

That is not my cup of tea. I actually find it to border on absurd looking.

Look’s like something a homeless crackhead would made out of cardboard.

Even more stupid looking than the Electric Mach 1 Ford excreted out on us.

Not a fan of the style or color/finish.

Ugly. (I like one of the words the Thesaurus suggests: unlovely)

Definitely not my father’s truck. Can’t haul anything in it.

I saw one for the first time last month going down Danville Boulevard in alamo. It actually looks like something that came from Outer space. Really imposing and really kind of spooky looking. I couldn’t tell though whether an alien was driving it or not 😁

You left out “Useless” as a choice, which is the clear winner.

Just curious: Where is the “truck” part of the Cybertruck?

I feel one of Elons children’s was asked in art class to draw a tank and this is what they drew and Elon said, challenge excepted.

Not Elon’s best work… and utility value as a truck? hmmmm don’t think so

The Tesla truck is beyond hideous!!! 🥴

I wouldn’t want to see it parked in my garage.

If that unsightly pile of what looks like left over parts is a truck, then Beyonce is a country singer…

It’s so ugly it has to sneak up on the charging station.
An expensive equivalent of the Pontiac Aztec, or that Nissan thing that looks like a toaster.

If i had the $$$ i would buy one and put in a custom gun turret ha ha

For the older folks!
WhyoTech first day challenge, here is a stack of SS panels, make something!

No, thanks

Saw one on the road. It looked ridiculous. Can’t imagine what kind of fool would buy one.

Pickup trucks are no longer real trucks, being with four doors and a tiny bed, they are nothing more than an SUV. The last real pickup was the 1972 Chevy C-10, and C-20, made of all steel, and except for the grill and steering wheel, there wasn’t any plastic. The Tesla looks like something out of a cartoon, and from what I understand, the $16,000 optional range extending battery takes up half of the already tiny bed. Priced at over $120,000, how much will it be worth in 10 years on a trade in when the battery is half dead? A used EV comes with a used battery, and who would want to buy a used EV when it costs up to $20,000 for a battery replacement?

It looks like a wedge of cheese wrapped in foil rolling down the street

Every time I see one I think of P.T. Barnum there is a sucker born every minute.

Utterly worthless as a pick up truck. Hideously ugly. When you do your research and find out how shoddy the construction is, it makes it even worse

Recently moved to tri val from Claycord. You see these everyday here, someone in my apartment complex has one (?????). Hideous.

And for those of us who use trucks for their intended uses, and haul: useless.

PlayStation 1 graphics in real life

I stated earlier I thought it looked absurd; that was based on pictures only. Saw one in the Costco lot, worse than the picture. What an awful looking vehicle. In no sense do I think this looks cool, no way, no how. To each his own I guess.

Expected a better product from Tesla as they are capable of producing well made cars. Designers of the “truck” should be drug tested. What were they thinking?

What’s the price? Why guess is low sales because of functionality and looks will kill it eventually

It’s ugly. It’s too bad too, as they could have come up with something decent. Instead, they went the ugliest route possible.

I think the front of the car up until the A-Pillar doesn’t look too bad. The rest of the car just looks like they gave up after that.

It looks a toaster with a set of wheels. I’d better keep a bag of Oroweat Whole Wheat bread with me next time I’m driving.

Love how triggered folks get anytime Tesla is mentioned.
