There is already a Five Below in the Willows Shopping Center. Concord doesn’t have a Sprouts, though there is one in Walnut Creek. However, Concord does have Harvest House, which would be competition for Sprouts. I wouldn’t want anything to happen to Harvest House. I used to shop there.
That shopping center is such an eye sore. Beat up worn down and tired looking. So sad. No one wants to go shop there when it looks like a homeless camp.
Yes, the back section on Market St. The front section on Willow Pass is buzzing, there is a lot of business happening here. Between 84 degrees bakery, Starbucks, Las montañas, Shen Shen low, Los gallos, Subway, 99 Ranch, La playita etc etc this is a busy place…The Audience here are the inmigrants, and I am not talking just about Mexicans. The new business on this section will have to target that audience, will definitely not be for you “Americans”.

Strategically a good location for a Trader Joe’s or Sprouts.
Or we can stop giving them free stuff and they will leave on their own.

I already miss their cheap bananas. At $.59/lb, that’s a lot cheaper than $.89/lb at Safeway. And yeah, I know bananas are only about $.20/each at Trader Joe’s, but that’s a lot out of the way for me.
I wish there was a Michaels! It was sooooigreat having Beverly’s so close. Now we have to drive to Joannes, Hobby Lobby or Michael’s in PHill. Ugh through all that traffic. We do a lot of crafts and and have lots of parties and it was awesome having Be etlys right there!

Heard this…Target made a run at the old KMart location but due to a grandfathered agreement the Lucky’s chain will not allow a fresh food seller in same lot. I find having to pay sales taxes to Walnut creek or Pleasant Hill Targets a missed opportunity in Concord. Concord needs this level of business for its community and there’s several wide open commercial properties to do better. Miss the conveniences of shopping in this area and now even more with this closure. Just a thought….

99 cents only had to shut it doors due to economic darwinism.
I could have easily kept the doors open and sold products at 99 cents.
It’s a simple math problem.

They should re do the whole back lot where frys electronic is. Turn that into a food market. Similar to the ones in SoCal. Anaheim packing house or Rodeo 39.
Re-do the whole shopping center. The whole thing is run down, well TJ MAXX can stay.
Bidenomics!
Nope.
easily the dumbest take…
Five Below or Sprouts Market

Have u been to harvest house lately ? The shelves are bare it doesnt look good
I’m sad to see the bare shelves at Harvest House also. I have been going there for many years, and I don’t want to see it close.
There’s a Sprouts in bay point already being built . Maybe a dutchbros
I think a sprouts market or five below would be great
Sprouts on Clayton Rd & a gym in Park & Shop
An Olive Gatden!
( only trying to give you all a Tuesday chuckle )
Yeah, speaking of a Tuesday chuckle. What about another drive-thru Starbucks 😂
Just put in a couple Chick Fil As and make the liberals cry!
Or a Hobby Lobby.
A jail.

How about a rat feeding station to keep them out of the restaurants for a bit during business hours
Trader Joe’s!!!!
Homeless shelter would be a good idea and would help get them out of Newhall Park.
Or we can stop giving them free stuff and they will leave on their own.

Try going to Concord Produce for the produce. It’s good and reasonable
Kmart
Trader Joes!
A cannabis club.
there’s a cannabis store there already
Dollar Tree!
There is already one on back of this mall.

KELLY L,

There are already redevelopment plans for the former Fry’s/Levitz location.
