Martinez police arrested a man earlier this week for allegedly possessing a loaded firearm and identity theft paraphernalia.

Officers on Tuesday pulled over a certain 31-year-old Mickey Ringer in the 3500 block of Pacheco Avenue. During the stop, police found the loaded handgun and items used to commit identity theft in the vehicle.

Ringer, a resident of Sonora in Tuolumne County, was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm and other associated offenses. He was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility and was still being held Wednesday without bail for parole violation.

Oh Wonderful, ANYONE the least bit surprised a convicted FELON
with a gun picked soft on Crime CoCo county ? ? ? ?
.
Prior to 2011 law AB-109 a Parole violation would have earned him a free trip back to State Prison a year or more. Because of AB-109, if he is not a paroled murderer, maximum he will do is 180 days County Jail time.
BUT, because of Jail overcrowding might be much less.
So where is the deterrence to prevent a violation of parole?
.
By the way, then State Senator DeSaulnier thought AB-109 was such a good idea,
having FELONS on our streets, he voted for the bill. https://tinyurl.com/m68nmjpn

I’m sure his gun was registered. Makes it easy to apply the law.

Like, what?????

It’s easy to tell the difference between good kids & bad kids.
Good kids do not become Felons.
Good kids do not illegally carry loaded guns.
Good kids do not commit identity theft.

“arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm”

So they’re not sure of his identity or do they know his Identity but don’t know if he is actually a felon?

What is ID theft paraphernalia? Is it even illegal to possess? These vague arrest details are less than convincing

He is probably already released with democrats making sure the police were nice to him during his commission of a felony/arrest.
Democrats are stoopid.

It would be refreshing news if a felon didn’t have a gun when he was arrested.

Wednesday he was held … it’s Thursday now … bet he’s out today probably going to do the same thing

“felon in possession of a firearm” – we need more gun laws so these felons aren’t running around with guns!
