Multiple School Districts In Contra Costa County Receive Bomb Threats

by CLAYCORD.com

Multiple Contra Costa County school districts were on high alert Wednesday in response to bomb threats that called for the release of Russian prisoners.

Locally, at least LUHSD, Brentwood Union School District, Antioch Unified School District, Pittsburg Unified School District, Mt. Diablo Unified School District and Clayton Valley Charter High School alerted families after receiving threatening emails early Wednesday morning.

The letters claimed a bomb on campus would detonate at 1 p.m. unless all “Russian prisoners and captives and persons from all U.S. jails, prisons and institutions” were released.

The districts immediately notified their local police departments and worked together to verify that the threat was not credible.

Didn’t know we had any Russian prisoners. Here I thought Russia had American prisoners. Spoofed again by dingbats.

The Kremlin is still holding Moose & Squirrel.

I’m sure that’s what the emails originally said.

In fact, that is exactly what the email said, as I was one of the recipients. Why the sarcasm?

My kids go to Clayton Valley Charter HS. Neither my spouse nor I received anything about this as of 11:51am.

I work for MDUSD. Our superintendent, Adam Clark, lied to the media when he said staff was informed. As of this Thursday morning, I’ve received no word about this from anyone in the district office. I also didn’t hear anything from my site admin. MDUSD has terrible, lying decision makers.

I thought Newsom was already releasing all the prisoners out of jail. I guess he already knew about the threat.

My daughter goes to CVCHS, I did get an email at 940am but it just said important message with a link you have to click on to open a pdf that takes forever to open. Not sure why they can just send a normal email.

This is much like the brainless young lady making threats against the Bakersfield city council lives for not demanding a cease fire in Gaza & being vilified for having to enter the facility through metal detectors. These young scholars are brain dead. Hopefully they find the responsible party & hold them accountable like they did little miss threaten your life…
