I haven’t eaten at a Fast Food place for decades.

Taco Bell used to be my least favorite.

Now I eat fruit instead.

I think it’s hilarious that more people disliked the idea of eating fruit rather than a processed hamburger.

Simple, all of them, except Mountain Mike’s takeout.
Closest I’ve found to Canal Street Pizza in mid 1970s.
Our kitchen has everything we need.
Costs less, family works together and vehicles stay cleaner.

All of them. I don’t eat fast food, I have too much respect for my stomach. That doesn’t mean I never had fast food, after all, how can I be a critic if I never tried it? The last time I had fast food was over ten years ago. I come from a Sicilian family where the women are great cooks, and after growing up enjoying wonderful meals, how can I succumb to such mediocre food?

My northern and southern Italian family and relatives were all great cooks as well. Yum Yum

Frank Sinatra was northern and southern Italian as well, that’s why he had blue eyes.

Taco Bell

$8 just for a hamburger?
They are all my least favorite now.
I no longer go to those places anymore… they’ve priced themselves out of the market.
I know it isn’t all their fault, it’s sad… but people get what they vote for.

The elite want to drive small business to the ground so that only enterprise exists. We can’t have that! Small local fast food places can exceed if they do things right but it is usually franchises that blow it with lazy owners and workers. And as you guess I haven’t eaten in a fast food place in years so don’t know who is the worst. In the old days most of them were okay or what was expected for the price. I did tend to not eat at Taco Bell though as they did seem to have poor product I guess in the process of trying to make things cheap and coming from the northwest there was another chain, Taco Time, that was heads and shoulders above Taco Bell for inexpensive fast Mexican food for a reasonable price.

I havent eaten fast food in years. If i had to pick one it would be mcdonalds. Such crappy burgers and crappy fries that people love.

Carl’s Jr….. last time I was there I was asked how I wanted it – said medium… got a gray piece of shoe leather and the fries had to be warmed over from the day before… my complaint went on deaf ears… never again

I make my own hamburgers these days. I know what is in it, on it, and how cooked. It is exactly the way I want it without someone else forgetting and leaving something off or adding something I wanted off.

Slightly off topic but it’s discouraging to see what people have to settle for in regards to convenience-based food. It isn’t really food in terms of nutritional value but more like silage with added oils.

One would think the overlords in Sacramento, with their highly experienced taste buds, would take at least a passing fancy on what the hoi polloi are eating. Fingers crossed, what could possibly go wrong?

Even with grocery prices skyrocketing you can still eat a steak cheaper than a fast food hamburger. DIY.

Arby’s…. Warm lunchmeat with processed cheese…. yuck

I’ve avoided Arby’s ever since “The College Try” by Garfunkel and Oates.

Geez Fearless! That was pretty gross…. but I did laugh.
To your credit, you didn’t provide a link.
It was my own fault for being curious and looking it up.

Jack in the Box makes me feel sleazy every time I go there. Like you made a bad decision and are filled with instant regret. Like how I imagine it must feel to get drunk and wake up next to someone who should wear a paper bag over their head.

The McDonald’s near me is busy from morning to midnight. I know people are hungry, tired, and in a hurry. But fixing one’s own meal with fresh, store-bought ingredients than the frozen but heated up food that place sells is so much more satisfying and doable.

Besides freshly sliced and fried — in very hot canola oil — potato or sweet potato fries are so good and yummy and are so worth waiting for.

Burger King is the worst IMHO. They were decent when they flame broiled and served fresh. Since they went to mass cooking, putting them in trays and reheating in the microwave (I think they were the first to go microwave back in the late 80’s, they are so bad and are worse than my old high school cafeteria burgers.

Carl’s Jr. Tried it a couple times about 30 years ago and was done.

Read Fast Food Nation and see how bad the mega fast food chains really are, and how bad fast food really is.

The dumbing down of America has been a mega boon for the fast food corporations.

All of them. All have become so pricey that I never go. $2.79 for a bean burrito at Taco Bell is asinine. I remember when they were $.59 cents.
