You’d think your water bill would be registration enough.

No doubt managing a water system is a big job, expensive properties, equipment and land; lots of employees, plus a VERY highly paid “elected” Board of directors (a highly coveted position.) But I will never fully understand how using exactly a VERY thrifty $5.46 worth of water costs $58.30. That means, use water or not, every house in the system is paying about $54.00 (bi-monthly) just to have a water supply pipe at the street. Every. Single. House.
