Fountain Head in Walnut Creek
Look at that, our beloved “Fountain Head” in Walnut Creek has a brother in France.
We got this message from our friend “ClayDen”:
“I just saw the post on “Fountain Head” and then I recalled that I have seen something very similar in Strasbourg, France in June 2022. The inscription above is Argentoratum. According to Wikipedia: Argentoratum or Argentorate was the ancient name of the city of Strasbourg. The name was first mentioned in 12 BC, when it was a Roman military outpost established by Nero Claudius Drusus. From 90 AD the Legio VIII Augusta was permanently stationed there.”

You can skip through all the nonsense in that book and go right to Roarks testimony at his trial in Chapter 18. Was a time I could recite a good part of it, that was 1982 or so. It’s beginner conservatism. Not without value and something to build on, but not an answer in of itself.
