There’s still Facebook? Huh. Can’t imagine I’d be on that very long before I got banned. But I’m behaving on Claycord.com for the most part, so there’s hope. People are soooo sensitive. 😉
Thanks for the alternative social media option. It will be interesting to see how things unfold there versus here.

I don’t trust Facebook…. anyone can find me there so I use my dog’s name.
My friends & relatives know who I am but old girlfriends (really old now) can’t find me.
Scammers can’t get any personal details, no impoverished young people showing up at the front door asking “Daddy?”
Nope, none of that.
I know Facebook has it’s good side too & there are some flimsy privacy settings, but I think that anybody who puts any personal info out there is taking a risk.
With all due respect Dr. J, anyone posting on the internet, including here, is exposing themselves to the world. Most folks use a pseudonym on social media sites such as Facebook in an attempt to be anonymous, but they are no more anonymous than Pee Wee Herman in a movie theater. Once you connect to the internet your days of privacy are over.
Most people on Facebook (the ONLY media that I referred to) use their real names, their friends real names and their relatives real names.
That is fact, not opinion.

Never bothered with Facebook because I have my own websites. But Facebook bothered me twice about working there. I don’t like commutes. 🤓
