ConFire Finds Fully Submerged Vehicle In Pleasant Hill Pond

ConFire responded to an accident with rescue in Pleasant Hill on Tuesday. Upon arrival, units found a fully submerged vehicle in the center of a pond on Ellinwood Way. The crew accessed the vehicle by aerial ladder and searched the vehicle for occupants. The vehicle was determined to be clear and crews remained on scene to assist with removal of the vehicle from the pond.

Isn’t that near where the old Chevy’s restaurant used to be? I liked going to that restaurant from time to time.

It’s a Hilton Homewod Suits now. I miss Chevys, it was actually pretty good, and the area was a unique place for a restaurant.

Not long ago a drunk women drove into the pond at Moraga Country Club. She drove over multuple hedges and curbs. The police caught up to her at the Moraga Safeway. She was soaking wet and tryng to make a phone call.

Fire dept. found a car sunk in a pond…. well, not much of a chance of it catching on fire….. so, good job boys!
