Hundreds of protesters demanding a ceasefire in Gaza have marched onto the Central Freeway in San Francisco and are blocking the roadway on Monday afternoon.

The protesters moved onto the freeway at the Highway 101 and Interstate Highway 80 split, according to the Calfornia Highway Patrol.

Authorities are urging motorists to avoid the freeway from Duboce Avenue to Octavia Boulevard.

The demonstration on President’s Day was planned to call for an immediate ceasefire and an end to U.S. support Israel.

The on Gaza would not be happening if the Palestinian terrorists did not attack Israel on October 6th and rape, kill, burn men women and children. Terrorists are still holding the hostages they kidnapped. Actions do have consequences….

No they dont have consequences when we dont have a president,,just a figurehead.he does nothing.Blocking the freeway is not consequenses, its mental illness looking for a place to play itself out.

Two things can be true — that 10/6 was awful and that Israel shouldn’t be destroying Palestine and the Palestinian people. Learn a little bit about why Israel exists and how they took over the region, how Palestinians only are allowed to occupy 10% of their land with little resources allowed in and out even though they are 50% of the population. Terrorists aren’t born in a void.

If you do not want to suffer the consequences of war. Do not start one.

Were it not for the invasion there would be no “destruction”.

Actions have consequences and life is not fair.

– Is your family ashamed of your ignorance and antisemitism?

They should be.

If the Palestinian people won’t do anything about the animals living among them known as Hamas, then others will.

Yeah right…There’d be peace in the Middle East if it wasn’t for that one thing.

Exactly theses protesters have no idea just mindless drones

We are losing our future prosperity, paying for endless foreign wars that were never declared, nor voted for. Something has to change.

What’s the purpose here? Do they think the powers that be might see this and say, “damn, they’re right, shut it down and pull out”….they are simply adults with zero self awareness or self control

these are skateboard/backpack children in overgrown chip and candy snarfing bodies that are waiting for the folks to croak and being told they are special.

I remember the protests in the 70s when the cops weren’t afraid to use their batons, and make arrests.

Looks like we need to bring that kind of energy back because this is out of control & criminal

These protesters will need to watch 30 minutes of video generated by Hamas terrorists during their attack. The atrocities committed are beyond horrific.

Did people call for a ceasefire when the Americans and the British landed in the beaches of France in 1944. NO! We have no troops on the ground in Israel. Israel needs to do what Israel needs to do, and they will.
,America should stay out of it.

The first Amendment of our Constitution, allows for peaceful protest. Protesting many not have immediate results upon changing a particular situation or stop even genocide. However, it does have an effect on politicians who realize they may not be re-elected, if the continue to go against the wishes of the people.

Blocking major traffic arteries, preventing emergency vehicles from reaching people
in need, assaulting police, etc. is not protesting, they are acts of terrorism. These clowns should be put on chain gangs and sentenced to 10 years hard labor before being deported to live in their cherished Middle East they claim is so much better than America.

Bloody Sunday…Selma, Alabama over 600 protesters blocked the Edmund Pettis Bridge on February 18, 1965 which changed American History forever. It’s called Civil Rights.

People have the right to protest, but do those same people have the right to deny others their freedoms?

They do not.

Your rights stop when they infringe on my rights.

Historically, politicians will continue to be re-elected regardless of any protests. In the end, nearly all voters will put aside their “altruism” and vote for the incumbent. When the questions come up to the politicians, they’ll just “clarify” or issue a statement and the great unwashed masses (who have no critical thinking skills) will continue to vote for them.

Try again.

Now imagine the response if they were praying the Rosary to end abortion

They never protest when I’m driving on the streets. Probably know what I’d do to them! Swing batter batter!!!

Bring back 1970’s NYPD standard operating procedures.

Dearest protesters. You’re are in the wrong country. Do you want to be relevant to your cause? Then jump on a plane and head to your side of the fight. You see, this is America. When we come here and become a citizen (legally), we adopt the US Constitution and way of living for our country, that we proudly call the United States of America. It’s not a person, place or thing, it is a way of being, thinking, acting, dreaming, making a choice, and standing together “AS ONE – UNITED – TOGETHER” for our freedoms as God intended. We let everyone speak, drive, wear whatever they want, bear arms, peacefully gather, practice religion, have a fair trial, own property and start a business.

I think it was RBG that said protest in a way that people will support your cause. I will never support a cause of protesters that obstruct traffic. Send them all to Gaza and have them sit in front of Hamas military vehicles. See how that goes.

Why are they protesting here? They should all go to the Middle East and protest there, instead of just putting on an idiotic childlike emotional display here.
Stupid is as stupid does.

Typical SF action, exaggerating their importance in the context of their expression. Not
likely anyone outside of the Bay Area give a rat’s a$$ about them. Just another reason
not to visit.

If the Palestinians are so important, why is it that no other Arab countries outside of Jordan is willing to invite them into their countries where the culture, language, customs, foods, and education to some extent are more familiar than in any western country? The young ones will grow up to hate both the Jews & America but will continue to benefit from both.
