A Berkeley city employee was arrested Monday for allegedly threatening to shoot himself and other city workers over the weekend, according to police.

Pat Urdahl was arrested in Concord at about 1:20 p.m. Monday after he failed to show up to work, police said.

Urdahl, 56, allegedly made the threats on Sunday and when he was arrested Monday, officers allegedly found a gun, ammunition and drugs, according to Berkeley police.

Berkeley hires convicted felons? Probably good news for somebody, just not anybody I know.

Maybe he wasn’t a convicted felon at the time he was hired.

.
The fundamental question is why were the threats being made.
.
Organizational culture? Harassment? Disciplinary action?
.
We await more information.

Old Pat Meister might just be a bad person. Drugs, previous felonies, and guns are not a good mix no matter how weird Berkeley is.

Don’t care about the work culture or any other BS excuse just glad that this was averted & another mentally ill individual is off the streets not posing a threat to the rest of us that don’t have these issues

That’s the second Hells Angels affiliate in that neighborhood, in recent memory, to get their doors busted after some serious stupidity.
