Pleasant Hill police on Friday received a 911 call of a note pass robbery at the Pacific Service Credit Union at approximately 11:40 a.m., according to Saturday morning press release.

Police say there were no reports of any weapons involved or any injuries to employees or customers. While the suspect fled the scene before police arrived, Pleasant Hill PD, with assistance from the Investigations Bureau and Contra Costa County’s Sheriff’s Office began following up on possible leads.

At a later time in the evening, investigators served a search and arrest warrant at the home of 34-year-old Pittsburg resident Jeffery Baker. He was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility.

Per the press release, evidence collected connected the suspect to the robbery and will be presented to the Contra Costa County’s District Attorney’s Office.

Was his name on the note he passed? I once read about a bank robber who wrote his note on the back of his deposit slip.

Alternative career path…entry level position somewhere while trying to find as much free or lost cost technical or professional training as you can. Show up to both every single day no matter what and bust your ass. Then maybe you can join a credit union instead of robbing it like a loser.
Rant complete.

Probably wrote the note on the back of his parole papers.

County will probably give him probation, when he commits robbery again while on probation, the Probation Officer will make him write an apology letter for the new crime and that is it, no consequences…….joke
CCC Probation is a joke and a waste of money!!!!

How are you going to see it there and criticize this person and and you don’t even know the situation he’s going through.just thank if lost it all job family house and all the stuff..you wouldn’t be downing some one for trying to survive I’d love to see anyone of you try to walk a mile in my shoes bet non of you could !!!!

There are plenty of opportunities for honest work. Being down on your luck is no excuse to rob a bank.

There is no excuse to rob anyone or anything. This comes under the heading of “scum.”

Knucklehead,
I’m sure that the thug appreciates your endorsement of his evil actions.
Did he offer you a cut of the ill-gotten loot?

You’re a funny knucklehead!

(Please tell me your post is sarcastic.)

What size are you feet so I can determine if I can walk in your shoes? Also, nobody cares why you think it’s ok to rob a credit union.

Another non Mensa educational failure

Grandpappy told my pappy, back in my day, son
A man had to answer for the wicked that he done
Take all the rope in Texas find a tall oak tree
Round up all them bad boys, hang them high in the street
For all the people to see

That justice is the one thing you should always find
You got to saddle up your boys, you got to draw a hard line
When the gun smoke settles we’ll sing a victory tune
And we’ll all meet back at the local saloon
We’ll raise up our glasses against evil forces singing
Whiskey for my men, beer for my horses
