Chick-fil-A, which will be located on the old Claim Jumper site on Diamond Blvd. in Concord, is currently under construction.
As we previously reported a few weeks ago, Claim Jumper was demolished to make room for the popular chicken sandwich restaurant.
It’s unknown exactly when they plan to open, but construction is moving right along, so it should be open sometime in late-winter or early-spring.
is just ok yardbird; not understanding the kraz about it
same for In&Out
ugh! waste of space
…. it’ll be busy – close to the freeway and has a drive through … not like the one in WC going in where the BofA is at Citrus and Oak Grove… won’t have a drive through, bet it might not make it… plenty of walk in chicken places in the area already
Welcome to Concord,
Sell all the chicken you can so the city leaders can have more sales tax
(9.75 %) to spend on the homeless.
Is it safe to say chik fil a will open befofe
Dutch bros opens on clayton rd?
Not likely because Chick-fil-A has to build an entire new building and the Dutch Brothers one is pretty far along and it’s construction. The problem with the Dutch brothers location is there are other buildings going in there also it probably won’t open till all of them are finished.
Ain’t waiting in long a$$d lines for some Hobby Lobby chicken. If you have to eat fast food, Popeyes will do you right.
I love Popeye’s Chicken but their prices have gone over the top…. they lost my biz (along with all the other places).
I hope it has a nice play area for the little ones! Not many restaurants being built today are kid-friendly.
I said it before and I’ll say it again. There is a perfect pad for this, in front of Lowes, off Hwy 4. The parking nightmare that this will bring to The Willows will lose patrons for other retail and cause businesses to close. Once this opens, I will avoid this center just like I avoid the Veranda. While I do like Chick Fil A, Popeyes chicken sandwich is much better.
Have to agree about the Lowes parking lot being a much better fit. I don’t look forward to navigating around Chik-Fil-A folks to get to the Willows parking lot.
RANCHGIRL,

Chick-fil-A wanted a location along or near the I680 corridor.
