A disabled BART train between the Concord and North Concord stations is causing major delays for the Wednesday morning commute, according to the transit agency.

The problem was initially reported shortly after 9 a.m. and is affecting trains in both directions through the area.

Passengers can take bus shuttles between the two stations via County Connection, BART officials said.

UPDATE: Service is slowly getting back to normal.

Disabled trains, fires, derailments, criminal activity, dirty trains and stations, homeless riding the trains all day long, drug use, budget issues and on and on. BART is in big trouble. Rather than trying to fleece us with more taxes, maybe some of these issues could be resolved somewhat with the billions being spent on the high speed rail to nowhere? Can’t wait to see the traffic when BART fails! The only good news coming out of any of California’s multiple failures is that they provide ample ammunition to derail Newsom and his presidential ambitions. Maybe?

he will be president “almost threw up when I said that” and we will be doomed.

You will be doomed, not decent public.

wow! “Love your hair,, hope you win!”

Bart is great when it works.

It doesn’t work when
It’s too hot
It’s too cold
It rains
It snows
It’s too windy

Otherwise, it’s down for maintenance.

🖕BART.

It fails when it’s too hot, too cold, too wet, etc…

Dirty, unsafe, too expensive, etc….

Nope.

Is this any surprise in a democrat controlled metropolis.

At least it isn’t a derailment…

BART is not starting the year off very well, is it?
.. maybe they should have kept some of the old trains instead of switching totally to the new ones? They’re the ones that seem to be having the trouble. I don’t like the new ones they’re too cramped and uncomfortable. I guess the homeless trashed the old ones with all their filth.

Three days into the new year and they’re already getting their lunch eaten. Barely Arrives Rarely Transits.
