Police in Concord released an image of a man suspected in a sexual assault in October.
The man allegedly assaulted a female victim about 10:17 a.m. Oct. 17 in the pedestrian tunnel under Highway 242, connecting Franquette Avenue and Market Street.
The suspect may frequent the area around the Home Depot at 2090 Meridian Park Blvd. in Concord, police said.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact Detective David Boucher with CPD’s Special Victims Unit at (925) 603-5876.

Maybe she just reported it now because he never called.
Why don’t they ever define sexual assault? It could mean anything from copping a feel, to rape.

Why would you need it specified? What does that have to do with anything.
Seems awfully late to the game to report such a serious crime being that the alleged perpetrator is still at-large potentially putting the public in constant danger.why the delay reporting this alleged crime and picture of individual.
I’m always very leery of that tunnel – it’s never seemed safe.

My husband would take this route to work often when riding his bike, but no more. He said this area is now taken over by so many homeless, loose dogs, etc. He did find $100 in 20’s at one point, it got caught up on is bike tire.🤷♀️
