The City of Pleasant Hill, along with the Downtown Merchants, invite the community to come to Crescent Drive from 4:30-7:30 p.m. for the annual holiday kickoff event, Light Up the Night.
This great yearly tradition has tons of activities for families including train rides, crafts, FREE hot chocolate and cookies, and more. This year, the community can enjoy two stages, one at either end of Crescent. The Main stage at the north end of Crescent will feature:
- Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy Choir
- miniMODE Dancers
- Studio A Dancers
- College Park High School Choir
- Victorian Carolers
The Kids’ stage at the south end of the street will have amazing entertainment featuring:
- Unique Derique
- Storytelling with Miriam
- Magician Brian Scott
- The Firelight Shadow Theatre
The tree will be lit at 5:30 p.m., and afterward, families can meet and have a photo with Santa.
The Fairy Facepainters are back this year, as well as the FREE Hot Chocolate Truck.
City Commissions, Pleasant HIll Rec and Park, service groups, and non-profits will be on hand with booths featuring crafts for the young ones, as well as an entire craft area featuring I Heart Art.
This year, we are adding a giving component as well. White Pony Express will be on hand and will have barrels for food donations available. Bring non-perishable items for donation, like:
- Peanut butter
- Canned meat
- Canned or dry beans
- Dry Cereals/Granola
- Dry Grains such as pasta or rice
- Soups
