Concord Police Arrest Two Drivers For DUI During Crackdown On Impaired Driving

by CLAYCORD.com

Concord Police Department arrested two drivers on suspicion of DUI while conducting a DUI enforcement patrol on November 18.

Drivers charged with DUI face an average of $13,500 in fines and penalties, as well as
a suspended license.

Concord Police Department reminds the public that impaired driving is not just from
alcohol. Some prescription medications or over-the-counter drugs may interfere with driving.

While medicinal and recreational marijuana are legal, driving under the influence of marijuana is illegal.

Concord Police Department will be holding a series of DUI enforcement patrols throughout the year to keep our roadways safe.

Funding for this DUI Patrol was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic
Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Is it just me or does it always seem like they just catch two DUI drivers? If the police pulled over speeders and red light runners, I bet you they would catch more than two drivers.

Yep… I’ve mentioned this many times before. Whether it is a check point or a saturation patrol; their unspoken limit; seems, is two. Seldom do they go over limit.

Two is always the definitive answer.
Officer: Have you been drinking tonight?
Suspect: I only had two beers.

I sure am. You got a problem with that?
.
Get over your political correctness. It just makes you look stupid and spineless.

@Exit 12A
I don’t believe “Fed Up” has a problem with that, just the opposite.

Well…. how much is it?
When correcting a wrong answer you must provide the correct answer.
You can’t just call “wrong” and run like a vandal.
The rule is, you must provide the correct answer immediately after you call the other one wrong. Check the Smarty Pants Rule Book! it’s in there.

Oh Brother November 21, 2023 - 9:35 PM - 9:35 PM

Saynogo November 22, 2023 - 7:51 AM - 7:51 AM

Wait just a danged minute !
How come DEMs aren’t whining about equity, how minorities suffer disproportional number of arrests? An why aren’t they complaining cost of a DUI conviction put undo hardship on the poor?
.
Is it because public opinion would cost then votes?
How strange most of what politicians do is designed to get themselves votes.
