No but it probably feel like it. It’s the first time in 5 years. I’ll get to see how much more crazier drivers are. It’s probably about 50 miles round trip.

No… only about 9.8 miles to my cousin’s home.

The dining room table is about 20 feet away from where I am now sitting. Easy commute!
Happy Thanksgiving!

I doubt it.

We’re staying in Clayton, going to our daughter’s house; about a 5 mile round trip.

Staying home (my dining room table is considerably closer than KBB’s, it is only about 8 ft from where I am.

That does it – I am moving my chair!

Nope. Just to the Oakland Hills and back to the 94521 on Thanksgiving day.

Concur.

Last time we drove on I-5 to LA for Thanksgiving was nerve wracking. It was like a flying in formation because everyone (technically) tailgates. And if you do leave a reasonably safe gap in front, some douchebag will inevitably change lanes to fill it.

2 years ago l drove to Pasadena taking l 5 for Xmas, it was a nightmare, traffic horrendous, rained going over the Grapevine, and lots of big trucks. Last year much better.
.Not going anywhere for Thanksgiving. Work Friday, so spending a quiet day with good food and a glass of wine..Use to cook for my platonic male friends, but my friend that lived on Clayton Way passed away

Anybody who gets on those highways during a holiday has a Deathwish. I was a paramedic for 31 years in this county.

Not only other roads, crazy, but there’s more domestic violence on Thanksgiving than any other day of the year. Combine alcohol, with people getting together with relatives they seldom see and you have a very toxic combination.

Yes. The challenge will be to not whine about it, but be thankful for all I have. 😎
