I did not see all we got, as my son and his girl answered everything, but we went through 2 large bags from Costco. The first group to come to our door was about a dozen. I’d estimate, by what I saw, easily 100. Our hood had a few years with only a few neighborhood kids, but a lot of families from other areas brought their kids to our neighborhood. Seems lately more younger families have been moving in, so lots of kids. What a great holiday, so many happy kids.
You’ve just uncovered a big conspiracy there. Yes, the ADA must be behind all the promotion of Halloween. And these days one needs to take out a second mortgage to buy candy for the evening. 🎃

We had 48. I know because I put 60 skittles in small bowl. I would eat one skittle after I gave each kid a fistful of candy. I had 12 skittles left when I finally turned out the lights. Good night.

250! Claycord Ave area! All the kids and parents were extremely polite and it was a great night!
I noticed that also, the kids were great. There was only two boys that were the hit and run duo.

Only two adorable little boys from the neighborhood, with their parents. They live down the street and it was a pleasure to meet them. We hardly get any trick or treaters any more, but I’m glad I was prepared with a box of kids’ Clif Bars. I ate one and it was delicious, and my grandsons will eat the rest. Glad I don’t have a lot of leftover candy.

None. Turn out the light and pull the blinds. The last thing I need is some kid tripping on our walkway, and then his parents wound up suing me.
Lol! They’re more likely to trip in the dark and frankly the lights out never deterred us from at least trying…
Your house would be the one we returned to in December and unscrewed all of your Christmas lights

November 1, 2023 - 8:40 AM 8:40 AM
Glad see some people got a lot of Halloween visitors.
I got 284 very polite visitors, but then again I live by a school, in an extremely safe neighborhood and not in CA. I actually ran out of candy and had to turn out the light a bit after 8pm.
Next big event is the Silver and Snowflake Festival the 1st Friday of Dec.

In the hour between 6 and 7 had 5 kids and 3 adults. One adult was looking for his car. After that they came in groups of 3 to 6 at a time and I lost count. At 8 there seemed to be no one out so turned off light. About 8:30 a pair and then a group of 4. I asked the tallest in that group to please take the last of the treats. I had already nibbled too many of them.

Kids with cavities and expensive dental work! Great holiday for dentists,
