Concord Police are investigating a crime scene in downtown Concord this morning.

Police have the area of Willow Pass Rd. and Mt. Diablo St. taped off, and crime scene cleaners are currently on scene.

It’s unknown exactly what occurred at that location.

We’ll have more details when police release information.

Possible stabbing/murder. Body was removed and a lot of blood on scene.

I’m sorry you said body was removed. I was there shortly after 7 AM as I am every morning.I called 911. She was awake and was definitely alive when they took her by ambulance. I do not have an update, but I just wanted to clear this up.

I was down at Farmers Market in the Plaza, .. person covered with old sleeping bag.
They also had the little orange/red cones with numbers on them.
Too many in the last month in this area, …. sad and scary at the same time.

Crime scene cleaning, now there’s a business in California with growth potential.
Keep criminals on our streets until they achieve body count, woke in action.
.
If there is no threat of incarceration,
there is no deterrence to criminal behavior

Someone got killed in Todos Santos Park? You have to be kidding.

Possibly territorial feral humans, they brawl over possessions and sleeping areas. Letting them live in public parks that are for the enjoyment of members of working families, retired people is wrong. City leaders should be protecting our quality of life.

This stems from a landmark 2018 decision by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. It’s unconstitutional to criminally penalize people camping in public when they lack “access to adequate temporary shelter”. In other words these filthy, insane druggies can sleep in any public place they want.

Hope they use POOF! to remove the stench.

Give them all a bag of dope and a knife. Take them to the middle of the desert and drop them off. Nature will take care of the rest.

Amazing how many people lack compassion for other human beings. God forbid one of you lose your job and end up on the streets. Disgusting.

This has nothing to do with them losing job.Where have you been, child…

Homeless people make way more per day than most people do at a job after taxes.Dope is expensive and the one thing that’s not free.

My thoughts exactly . There but for the grace of God go I ..

Our community’s are crap. Our politicians do not care.

Hmmm…might want to rethink that. They do care. They want our communtues messed up so they have something to fix – sarcasm with fix.

There was also a dead body found in a van at the concord library on Saturday night. We never heard about this on claycord or the news…..what is going on here!

NEIGHBOR ~
What??, … not in the New about that one!
Or about the gruesome killing of a woman at Sunset Ave & East St weeks ago.
I have the same question, … what is going on here!

The Concord Library, I stopped going there because I didn’t feel safe at night. There were men who seemed to be high and were sleeping all over the place. The bathrooms were extremely dirty. Was concerned about what would happen if one of them went into a fit of rage and for the safety of the many kids around.

Exactly. I stopped going there long ago. I would see homeless people walk in all the time.

After stepping past the bums sleeping on the sidewalk in front of Concord Library inside it smelled like poop and there were dirty men asleep in the recliners. We don’t go there anymore.

According to the scanner, a 46 yr old woman was assaulted near Starbucks in Todos Santos. She was transported to John Muir Walnut Creek.

Another day in the ghetto.

@THE WIZARD. Looks like you never been to the “getto”, Concord compares nothing to it.
In the “getto” the criminals all help and protect each other, but they come to your community to destroy it.

“Concord…where families come first.”

That d.a. Becton should be charged with that crime! She let that felon go free 4 times already.

You can’t just make a statement like that, and not provide any supporting information. What was the name of the felon? What were his crimes? And when did Becton let him go? Without supporting data we don’t know if you’re talking out some other orifice.

It will continue until our “leaders” clean up the streets… no surprise… nothing to see here – keep moving

Law enforcement has their hands tied as to what they can and cannot do. Just following orders, blame the city and state (leaders), pun intended.

Well it’s good to know that the lady wasn’t killed. We all gotta look at things more seriously realistic here like the innocent people in Israel. I couldn’t imagine something like that happening all over around here in our state that would be a nightmare. And it’s pretty much a nightmare for those people there and that how there life is going through fear and dieing and losing people they love. It’s terrible to even have to feel what they all going through… when it comes about God why ? Does this have to happen? Hope everyone have a safe and mind peaceful week…
