Firefighters battled a blaze that extended into two Concord houses on Monday afternoon, fire officials said.
The fire started between the homes about 1:15 p.m. in the 1800 block of Lambeth Lane. One of them had extensive damage and was uninhabitable after the fire, according to the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District.
It’s not known how many people were displaced. The fire was extinguished by about 2:30 p.m., fire officials said.
No injuries were reported.
Rock the Casbah!!! The bad boys of Contra Costa County.
Looks like it started in the garage not in between the houses.
The shared fence between the houses is already burned to the ground and so there may well have been a fire there that spread into the structure. There has been a large pile of junk/trash stored between the garage to the left and the fence. I see burn marks on the outside of the garage towards the back.
