What’s a bowling alley?

Yes, there’s something about sending a ball down the lane to destroy pin alignment.

I’m going with no. Is the one in concord even open? I never go down that way.

I’m not sure we will even exist then.If things don’t change politically we are doomed. Its not about the American people and this country anymore. We are being overrun with immigrants and spending to much money on other countries.Change the current administration or else!Bowling alley’s is our least concern.

you won’t believe this but it was immigrants who brought bowling over to the US. Maybe the forefathers should have been concerned about bowling back then.

But I tend to figure those aren’t the type of immigrants you are worried about.

You are right.

Political rants go under “Talk About Politics” every Friday.

.
No. The sport will be deemed too elitist and exclusionary by extremist liberals.

And the current bowling alleys will be force to house immigrants on the alleys

Maybe.
If Golf Courses, Tennis Courts and Ice Rinks are still around too for pro-players.
How much can professional bowlers make?
In the present day, the average yearly salary of a pro bowler is between $45,000 to $50,000, excluding sponsorships. Top-tier bowlers can earn considerably more, with the best in the sport making around $250,000 to $300,000 annually.

Chump change compared to some other professional sports pay. 💰🏆🏀🏈⚾️
🎾⚽️💫🕶🏆

There isn’t even an emoji for it. Count it already gone!

There is an emoji for it 😊🎳

As long as they aren’t a retail store they have a chance! and having a cocktail lounge in the bowling alley would also help

@Saynogo
Cocktail lounge, bowling balls, drunk people. What could go wrong!?

Probably will be replaced by some kind of techie device…. too bad though… like that sound of a hard strike!

Bowling alleys are cool. Been in a bunch of leagues but not in years. Always had a good time. It would be a shame if they faded away. Great time for a little social gathering. Much better than a cell phone.

I didn’t realize that bowling allies are an endangered species.

I don’t know, but…

I hope the cafe at the Napa Bowling Alley stays around….

The tacos are excellent !

Maybe… but I won’t be around in 30 years to give a hoot.

I hope so! Anything that makes people put their phones down!🤪

Bowling alleys in SoCal especially near college towns are huge. They have tons of lanes, a huge bar, good live music and it’s a gathering place for a lot of people who are 21-25 or have a fake id. The bowling alley in concord stays alive because of parties, leagues, and does Clayton valley still have A period bowling class? And the bar tenders are cool there. Dive tho

The ever-increasing costs of building and participating in some sports will eventually lead to them entering the VR (virtual reality) realm. Already some sports are in VR. The future will be our own world based on VR.

I used to have a Wii and I much rather play a bowling game on that than go to a bowling alley. The experience at the actual bowling place wasn’t fun due to disrespectful and disruptive patrons along with renting shoes that seem to carry fungi and a very dirty establishment. When going to a bowling alley NEVER forget to wear extra socks.

Yes, but only the ones with built-in bars and restaurants will survive. Standalone bowling alleys will be torn down for housing or something.

I hear they are causing climate change and are super spreaders for COVID HOAX

I hope and pray (and have change my lifestyle habits of eating) I am around to see. Bowling alleys may not be around in 2053 in this area, but I strongly suspect they will be around in the Midwest. I love bowling, I am not good, no form, but do have fun.

In the NY area bowling was very popular in the Italian community,

Sadly, only for Columbine.

Clayton Valley Bowel = Legendary

probably not. all these recreational games are being done online. How silly. Humans will become more isolated and depressed.

I see a lot of them closing down. It’s too bad, I had a lot of fun there when I was a kid. I think they are much better than video games or cell phones and are a very lost part of American culture.

Don’t know about bowling alleys, but I know those butt-ugly bowling shoes will last forever!

How did I miss that? 🎳 Ooo .. it was in with 🎻🎸🎷🎺🥁 and 🎯🎲♟.

The industry prefers that they now be called Bowling Centers.

is that because you want to roll the ball down the “center” of the “alley”?
