Parts of Monterey County have the potential for widespread rainfall beginning Friday due to more moisture entering the area as offshore winds trend further west, while the Bay Area has a chance of light rain, according to the National Weather Service.
Rain chances increase Friday afternoon and the precipitation will likely exit the area by Saturday afternoon, with the highest amounts likely from the south San Francisco Peninsula through the Central Coast. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms in south Monterey County on Saturday morning, according to the weather service.
Rainfall could accumulate between a tenth and two-tenths of an inch from the Bay Area down to the Central Coast, forecasters said. Up to three-tenths of an inch of rain is possible over coastal terrain south of the Bay Area such as the Santa Cruz Mountains, the Diablo Range and the Santa Lucias.
The weather service said the rainfall is expected to be “purely beneficial” but could cause some ponding on roadways.
Again, zero rain in forecast. What is driving this narrative?
Agenda 21? 🙄
Great reporting, thank you!
I’ll believe it when I hear it.
They cannot accurately predict tomorrow’s weather, but they want us to believe they can predict the effects of climate change.
