The memorial for the firefighters and law enforcement officers who were murdered on September 11, 2001 is set up at Clayton Fire Station #11.
The memorial, located at 6500 Center Street in Clayton, shows a picture and brief description of each firefighter and law enforcement officer killed during the attacks on America in 2001.
It’s definitely worth a visit.

There was a person jogging the walk path waving an American Flag.

Clayton is a pretty patriotic town…one of the reasons I like it so much.
Each year I like to pay my respect to those fallen on 9/11 by reading a few of the bios on the front lawn. It’s always a moving tribute.
I put my flag out this morning.
Same here and fly it on all holidays. I used to fly it every day under Trump, but no more under Biden.
Besides the firefighters, and law enforcement officers, let’s not forget the passengers and the crew on flight 93 who lost their lives fighting back against the hijackers. Heroism comes in all shapes and sizes.
But the flag is a racist symbol now … right? … that’s what they’re teaching to the young people anyhow … sigh
I feel bad for all the folks who responded and worked the cleanup crews … most got sick (cancers mostly) and their scum-bag insurance providers dropped them like hot cakes … #neverforget
