A grab & run theft occurred at MVP Sportscards in Pleasant Hill today.
The suspects were two Hispanic males who fled on foot with an armful of merchandise.
The following information is from a witness:
“I just saw a theft at MVP Sportscards. The two losers ran out of the store with a bunch of boxes and one fell and slid across the concrete on his face. It was hilarious. But he got back up and ran to a waiting car. He’s probably crying now. There is no way that didn’t hurt.”

It’s very sad. I feel for the owner. Good folk.What does this say about our society in general? Unfortunately, our District Attorney is helping in the deterioration of this county.
Some of those cards are worth big money i feel bad for the owner.

Great little store, the owner is very knowledgeable and honest. At some point in the near future, every store in CC county will have been ripped off.
I walk by there several times a week. He’s had his front door/window smashed out at least once before, it was plywooded over. Then he had to get a heavy duty pull-down gate to protect the storefront when it’s closed.
There’s no point in stealing that stuff without reselling it. If the cops/DAs cared, I’m sure the cards will show up on the relevant websites that sell this stuff.

I feel bad for the store owner. Hopefully, their insurance will cover the theft, and I hope they catch the thieves.
