Yes….I love it!
Hope it cools things off. Had some brief showers in Pittsburg.

Yes. Lots of lighting, thunder and good rain showers here in Concord Dana estates area

We live near Concord Dana Estates and got the trio too.

Nope, didn’t hear a thing. Too bad, I always enjoy a good light show.

Didn’t hear thunder (sometimes hard to tell that from jets taking off at Buchanan at late hours) but heard a downpour that lasted a few minutes.

You’ve been Thunderstruck

Nope. Not thunder, no lightning, no rain either. Drats!

Just came back from my walk where it was cool but humid.

Didn’t really hear or see much of it at all in Clayton. If you think that’s a thunder and lightning storm, you’ve never been to the Midwest or Texas.

Why do people always say thunder and lightning? If there’s lightning, there’s thunder, because lightning creates thunder. The electrical discharge that is lightning creates a pressure wave in the air, which is what sound is. You may not always hear the thunder, because the air attenuates sound more than the light. The reason you don’t hear the thunder until after you see the lightning is because lightning travels at ~186,000 miles per second, while thunder travels at about 1/5 of a mile per second.
