Now I’m hungry. Lasagna, with my grandmother’s tocco recipe. Dried porcini mushrooms used to be the secret ingredient until 10 seconds ago.

I have no idea. I’m driving down to Pasadena my granddaughter turns 7, so whatever my daughter is serving. I should be there by dinner time unless there’s a lot of traffic.

I already had dinner – two BBQ pulled pork zombies from rob’s zombies. I might grab an apple from the fridge later. Was happy to find that they are now selling cheeseburger zombies; I had one at a farmers market maybe 20 years ago and have been dreaming about them ever since!

Drove out to Olive Garden in Antioch for some takeout spaghetti, meatballs, caesar salad, and their beloved bread sticks. Just wish one was located closer in Claycord.

Beef stew on a hot day to cool me down! I like to boil for 3 hours low heat, add all fresh garlic, orégano, parsley, cilantro, celery, onion, bell pepper, tomatoe, and sea salt. 20 minutes before is cooked add fresh corn on the cob, yuca, plantain. This is my mom’s salvadoreña recipe.
