Sourdough & Co. Opening Restaurant In Pleasant Hill

Sourdough & Co. is opening another restaurant in Contra Costa County.

Construction is currently underway inside the building, which is located near Safeway on Contra Costa Blvd., between Farrington’s Bar and Diablo Trophies.

QUESTION: Have you been to Sourdough & Co.? If so, how’d you like it?

way too small of portions (I don’t look for big but theirs is really small) and very high priced … went 2x… no more

Appreciate that input there Domo. I am not one to go to a restaurant for a sandwich (can make my own), but now for certain will not anticipate even looking at their menu (although to be honest, perhaps smaller portions would benefit me immensely-that word chosen intentionally).

Cutbacks are never good for business. Sweet Affair used to have great sandwiches, but they hired a grinch who makes them now. You need a magnifying glass to find the filling and super patience when they mess up your orders and then get mad at you for it.
Always out of everything, even baked goodies. Good news is Mendicino Farms and the Breakfast Club are moving in that Ygnacio shopping center 🙂

I wrote to their advertised admin email address 2x about our sandwiches from the todos santos location. Never received a response. Went that one time. Terribly small amounts of meat and vegetables. Too pricey for what you get. Won’t go back.

Went in once and got a loaf. Very good but a bit higher than I would pay on a regular basis.

Went to the store in downtown Concord. Roast beef sandwich was tasty but too expensive for what I got. I chalk it up to inflation. Might go back but not in any hurry to do so.

Reviews and word of mouth can make or break restaurants. If they don’t appeal to the masses, they’ll go out of business.

So sad that all anyone does is complain about one thing or another. It’s very obvious that no one is in tune with the rising costs of everything under the Sun. If you can’t afford the luxury of eating out, then stay home and have some Cup of Noodles!

One in Todos Santos .. too expensive…nothing to write home about

Is that the former SAS Shoes location?

Will try it as I go to Pleasant Hill a lot for movies. So far Urban Plates is my favorite–always great food, especially their sandwiches. And happy employees.

Tried one of their sandwiches during a group lunch at work. I thought the sandwich was excellent. Company paid the bill so I did not have to consider what it cost.
